On January 30th, during British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to China, JD.com and the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the UK-China Business Forum. Lucy Rigby, UK Minister of State for Economic Affairs, and others witnessed the signing ceremony. Representatives from JDHKShop and the Chairman of the CBBC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The core objective of this strategic cooperation is to build a bridge for cooperation between Chinese and British brands, helping more British companies successfully enter the Chinese market. According to the agreement, the CBBC will fully leverage its resources in the UK business sector, collaborating with leading local companies to conduct in-depth cooperation with JD.com. JDHKShop will provide British brands with end-to-end support, including professional insights into the Chinese market, customized operational services, and access to JD.com's mature e-commerce ecosystem and logistics network, helping British brands efficiently reach Chinese consumers and quickly establish a foothold in the market.
As a cross-border e-commerce platform under JD.com, JDHKShop provides overseas brands with end-to-end solutions from onboarding and marketing to fulfillment, becoming the best bridge connecting global brands and Chinese consumers. In July 2025, JDHKShop launched the "10 Billion Yuan, 1000 Products New Growth Plan," aiming to introduce 1,000 new overseas brands and achieve 10 billion yuan in sales growth within the next three years. This plan leverages three major projects—"National Pavilions," "Centennial Brands," and "Global Good Products Call"—to further innovate differentiated support strategies for overseas brands, helping them to efficiently enter the Chinese market and establish a strong foothold.
